The Du’a of Laylatul Qadr: Seek Allah’s Forgiveness
As we enter the final days of Ramadan, we eagerly seek the most blessed night—Laylatul Qadr, the Night of Decree. This night, which is better than a thousand months, is a chance to earn unimaginable rewards and have our sins wiped away.
Aisha (RA) once asked the Prophet (ﷺ):
“O Messenger of Allah, if I know which night is the Night of Decree, what should I say during it?”
The Prophet (ﷺ) responded:
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عُفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
O Allah, You are pardoning. You love to forgive, so forgive me.
(Sunan al-Tirmidhī 3513)
